My name is James Marshall.

Where I was: I was working for a London recruitment agency and had been there since graduating two years ago. I am new to the industry and so didn't have a very good idea where my recruitment strengths were and which recruitment industry would suit me best.

What Carrington Blake did for me: I contacted Carrington Blake just out of curiosity. I spoke to one of their senior consultants and he immediately offered to have an informal meeting to get to know my needs better and to get to know me. I was impressed with how much information about me the consultant remembered from our first meeting and he kept in regular contact after that.
    The consultant didn't give me an immediate hard sell at all and simply monitored my progress at my then position. When I suggested that I was ready for a change the consultant mapped out with me what my strengths were and what Recruitment industry I would be better suited for.

Where am I now? Carrington Blake have an impressive list of agencies that they work with to supply talented and experienced staff. I was put forward for several good opportunities and was accepted for a position in a financial services recruitment consultancy where I am now.

Impressed? Very much so. I feel I was helped to find a better role. I am much happier in my new role and feel that I am growing in experience.

On-going... I still keep in touch with Carrington Blake as they provide on-going training for intermediate level and beginner consultants so that I am always keeping on top of my sales and client development skills.
